MCHS is a group of volunteers organized as a 501(c)3 non-profit and supported by membership dues, fund-raisers and donations. We are a member of the Texas State Historical Commision and actively promote heritage tourism within the Texas Forts Trail Region organization. Donations received by the Mason County Historical Society are used in preserving and maintaining the Mason County Museum and the Fort Mason Museum.
Regular individual and business memberships, in the Mason County Historical Society, run from August 1 -> July 31. Individual Memberships are $10, Business are $25, and Lifetime are $500. You will have the opportunity to select the type of membership or amount of donation after clicking the "Donate" button. You may donate using your Paypal account or a Credit Card. You will also have the option to send additional comments with your donation.
